Due to COVID-19 most animation studios are left strapped and on heavy schedules due to COVID-19. Shows like Amphibia are finalizing episodes a week before they air and working on a even more condense  schedule. According to Amphibia show running Matt Braley on a fan ask reddit page, him and his team are working over time to produce quality episodes to meet Disney’s deadline and there loyal fan- base.  Due to the type of work of animation, work can be remote and telecommunications are the next best thing to produce episodes but things have definitely slowed down.
